How to choose
Three things decide which purifier is right for you.
Chemicals and smoke need heavy activated carbon; allergies and dust need true HEPA. Most of our units do both.
Coverage is rated in square feet. Size up if you want more air changes per hour in a larger room.
No ozone generators and no ionizers. Where a model has a UV-C lamp, it is sealed inside the cabinet and its page says so.

True HEPA is rated 99.97% at 0.3 microns. The HEPA Barrier in the C and T series is rated 95% at 1 micron, because those machines are built around the carbon. Prices are ours on October 23, 2026.

A 14 on the end (R614, V714) means Super HEPA, rated 99.99% at 0.3 microns. A DLX version changes the carbon stage; each product page lists exactly what it carries. For asthma, smoke or chemical sensitivity, plan on more air changes than two, so size up. The R600. It pairs True HEPA with 18 lbs of activated carbon and covers about 2,000 sq ft at two air changes an hour. Choose another letter only when you can name the problem: chemicals (C), smoke (T), formaldehyde (F), pets and a broad chemical range (V).

I live in fire-risk country and needed something compact for my 380 sq ft bedroom that could run on high during smoke events. The 'it' at speed 4 keeps indoor particle levels low during fires and drops to speed 2 for normal operation. Two wildfire seasons through. Performs exactly as expected. For bedroom-sized protection in a fire-prone area, this is the correct unit.
We discovered mold after water damage. Post-remediation, I needed something for both residual spores and the VOCs from the remediation process. The V600's impregnated carbon specifically targets the VOC classes associated with mold off-gassing, and the True HEPA handles the spore class. Six months post-remediation, air quality testing came back clean. The V600 has run continuously since.

During last fall's fire events, I ran the Junior at speed 4 for 8 consecutive days while outdoor AQI was hazardous. My indoor monitor never read above 22 during that period. The HEPA stage on smoke particles is very effective. Now running at speed 2 for normal operation. This is essential equipment if you live in fire-risk areas and don't need the coverage of the full HealthMate.
The 'it' is a genuine air purifier for spaces up to 500 sq ft. It doesn't cover 1,500 sq ft — it's not supposed to. For a bedroom, office, or small apartment, it's the right tool. Real HEPA, real carbon. Speed 4 is loud but you'd only run that during a smoke event. Speeds 1–2 are quiet enough for sleep. Good product, just size it to the right application.
