What It's Designed For
The F600 provides formaldehyde-targeted activated carbon filtration at 560 CFM for rooms up to approximately 2,000 sq ft. Formaldehyde is classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the IARC and is continuously off-gassed by pressed wood products, MDF, carpet adhesives, paints, and upholstered furniture across virtually every new or recently renovated home. The F600 addresses this with carbon calibrated specifically for formaldehyde and aldehyde compounds — not general-purpose carbon — combined with HEPA filtration that captures the fine construction particulate and dust that accompanies off-gassing environments. Sized for larger living spaces where the F400's 360 CFM is insufficient for the square footage.

Filtration System
Pre-Filter — Captures large particles including construction dust at intake. Protects carbon and HEPA stages. Replace annually.
Carbon Bed — 18 lbs Formaldehyde-Targeted Activated Carbon — Calibrated for the chemical profile of off-gassing building materials: formaldehyde from pressed wood, MDF, and carpet adhesives; acetaldehyde and other aldehyde compounds; VOCs from paints, varnishes, and sealants; BTX compounds (benzene, toluene, xylene) from construction materials; solvent vapors from adhesives and installation compounds.
True HEPA — 99.97% @ 0.3 microns — Removes fine construction dust, mold spores, pollen, fine particulate, bacteria, and airborne viral particles.

Best For
- New construction or post-renovation homes at 2,000 sq ft scale with active formaldehyde off-gassing
- Open-plan living spaces with new flooring, cabinetry, or furniture installations requiring targeted filtration during the peak off-gassing period
- Households with pregnant women, infants, or members with respiratory conditions for whom formaldehyde is a documented concern
F600 vs. F400: The F400 is the single-room equivalent at 360 CFM. The F600 covers larger open-plan spaces at 560 CFM. F600 vs. F614: The F614 upgrades to Super HEPA 99.99% — appropriate when asthma or fine particle sensitivity compounds the formaldehyde concern. F600 vs. F600 DLX: The F600 DLX upgrades to 26 lbs of super enhanced impregnated carbon with HepaBarrier for maximum formaldehyde adsorption capacity in heavy off-gassing environments. F600 vs. F700: The F700 runs at 635 CFM with the same carbon configuration. For larger or higher-ceiling spaces, the F700 is the upgrade.
