What It's Designed For

The P600 adds photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) to the UV-C + carbon + HEPA platform — a chemical-destructive filtration stage that extends pathogen and chemical control beyond adsorption and sterilization. TitanClean™ PCO uses titanium dioxide (TiO₂) activated by UV-C light to generate hydroxyl radicals that break down VOCs, chemical contaminants, bacteria, viruses, and mold at the molecular level. For environments where both elevated chemical and biological contamination are concerns, the P600 provides the broadest multi-mechanism filtration available in the standard 600 series: 18 lbs of activated carbon for adsorption, UV-C for sterilization, TitanClean PCO for oxidative destruction, and True HEPA for particle capture.

Carbon Bed — 18 lbs Activated Carbon — Adsorbs VOCs, chemical off-gassing, formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, and chemical contaminants across the standard adsorption range.

UV-C Germicidal Lamp + PCO Reflector — UV-C wavelength radiation activates the TiO₂ photocatalytic coating while simultaneously sterilizing bacteria, viruses, and mold spores in the air stream. The PCO reflector maximizes UV-C exposure of the TiO₂ surface.

TitanClean™ TiO₂ Photocatalytic Oxidation — Titanium dioxide coating activated by UV-C that converts VOCs, chemical contaminants, bacteria, viruses, and mold spores to water vapor and CO₂ through oxidative decomposition. Destroys contaminants rather than capturing them.

True HEPA — 99.97% @ 0.3 microns — Captures fine particulate, biological aerosols, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, PM2.5, bacteria, and airborne viral particles.

The P600 is rated for up to 2,000 sq ft. It's built for large open-plan spaces and serious air quality situations. On speed 3 it covers a typical main living floor; speed 4 is available for rapid air changes during high-pollution events.

Airpura filter life varies by model and usage. The carbon bed in this unit is rated to last 2–3 years under continuous use in a typical residential environment. HEPA and pre-filters have their own replacement schedules. Replacement filters are available on our filters page. Running the unit below its rated capacity meaningfully extends filter life.

Airpura units have 5 speed settings. Speeds 1–2 are quiet enough for background operation. Speed 3 produces consistent airflow noise suitable for daytime use. Speeds 4–5 are designed for high-pollution events and are not intended for overnight operation. Most users maintain their home environment at speed 2–3 continuously.

No ionizer, no ozone byproduct. The P600's UV lamp is fully enclosed — it irradiates only the air stream passing through the unit, with no UV or ozone released into room air. The photocatalytic TiO2 stage breaks down VOCs at the molecular level inside the unit. All filtration is contained.

Yes. The P600 handles wildfire smoke extremely effectively — the True HEPA captures smoke particles and the 18-pound carbon bed addresses the chemical load in smoke. Most Airpura users run their units continuously at speed 2–3. Continuous operation at a moderate speed outperforms intermittent high-speed runs for maintaining consistent indoor air quality.

Airpura units ship directly from their facility in Montreal, Canada. Orders typically clear customs within 2–3 business days and arrive within 7–14 business days to most US addresses. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships. Import duties and customs fees are included in the product price — no surprise charges at delivery.
