What It's Designed For

The P700 is the 700 series multi-mechanism filtration configuration — TitanClean PCO photocatalytic oxidation, UV-C germicidal sterilization, 18 lbs of activated carbon, and True HEPA at 635 CFM. TitanClean PCO uses titanium dioxide activated by UV-C to oxidatively break down VOCs, chemical contaminants, bacteria, viruses, and mold at the molecular level. At 635 CFM, the P700 provides more air cycles per hour than the P600 for the same square footage, making it the correct choice for larger or higher-ceiling spaces where multi-mechanism chemical and biological filtration is required at the highest available airflow.

Filtration System

Pre-Filter — Captures large particles at intake. Protects carbon, UV-C, and HEPA stages. Replace annually.

Carbon Bed — 18 lbs Activated Carbon — Adsorbs VOCs, benzene, toluene, xylene, off-gassing and odors from cleaning products, cosmetics, paints, carpet and upholstery.

UV-C Germicidal Lamp + PCO Reflector — UV-C radiation sterilizes biological pathogens and activates the TitanClean TiO₂ photocatalytic stage. PCO reflector maximizes UV-C exposure of the TiO₂ surface.

TitanClean™ TiO₂ Photocatalytic Oxidation — Oxidatively decomposes VOCs, chemical contaminants, bacteria, viruses, and mold spores to water vapor and CO₂. Chemical and biological destruction at the molecular level.

True HEPA — 99.97% @ 0.3 microns — Captures fine particulate, biological aerosols, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, PM2.5, bacteria, and airborne viral particles.

Replacement Filter Bundles

Replacement filters for the 700 series are on our replacement filters page.

Filter Suggested Interval
Pre-Filter Every 12 months
Carbon Filter Every 2 years
HEPA Filter Every 3–5 years
UV-C Lamp Per manufacturer schedule

Best For

  • Larger or higher-ceiling spaces where multi-mechanism chemical and biological control requires both the full P series filtration stack and greater air exchange rate than the P600 provides
  • Environments with complex simultaneous contamination — mold, VOC off-gassing, fine particulate — where chemical destruction, UV-C sterilization, and particle capture are all required

P700 vs. P600: The P600 runs at 560 CFM. The P700 provides 635 CFM with the same PCO + UV-C configuration — the correct choice when greater airflow is needed. P700 vs. P714: The P714 upgrades to Super HEPA 99.99% — appropriate when fine particle sensitivity is an additional concern. P700 vs. P700+: The P700+ adds TiO₂ coating to the HEPA filter, expanding PCO treatment area by 4.5× for maximum photocatalytic oxidation coverage.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you buy.

Airpura rates this machine for up to 2,500 sq ft at two air changes an hour, with 8-foot ceilings. For four air changes, which is what we suggest for smoke, asthma or chemical sensitivity, plan on about 1,250 sq ft.

  • The P600 ($1,399.98) moves 560 CFM and is rated by Airpura for 2,000 sq ft at two air changes an hour, with the same filters.
  • The P714 ($1,599.98) is the same machine with a Super HEPA filter, 99.99% at 0.3 microns, in place of True HEPA at 99.97%.

Airpura filter life varies by model and usage. Airpura rates the carbon filter at about two years of continuous use in a typical home. HEPA and pre-filters have their own replacement schedules. Replacement filters are available on our filters page. Running the unit below its rated capacity meaningfully extends filter life.

Airpura units use a variable-speed motor, so you dial airflow up or down across a range rather than stepping through fixed settings. At the low end it is quiet enough to sleep beside. At the top of the range it is clearly audible and is meant for clearing a room quickly — after cooking, painting, or on a smoky day — not for running overnight. Most people settle around the middle of the range and leave it there.

No ionizer and no ozone. This unit does include a germicidal UV-C lamp, fully enclosed inside the cabinet — it treats only the air passing through and emits no UV into the room. The particle and chemical work is still done by mechanical HEPA and activated carbon.

Yes. Austin Air and Airpura units are used by patients with asthma, allergies, and chemical sensitivity. The True HEPA captures particle-class triggers and the activated carbon addresses VOCs, odors, and chemical compounds. No ionizer, no ozone — safe for respiratory conditions. For MCS specifically, the HealthMate Plus or Airpura C600 have the most relevant specifications.

Yes. Airpura units are designed for continuous residential operation. The steel-body construction and quality motor components are built for this use case. Airpura's 600 and 700 series have a variable-speed dial rather than numbered speeds, and a low to medium setting suits continuous use. Continuous operation at a moderate speed outperforms intermittent high-speed runs for maintaining consistent indoor air quality.

Airpura units ship free directly from their facility in Montreal, Canada. Most orders arrive in 4 to 9 business days, including 1 to 3 business days to process. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships. Import duties and customs fees are included in the product price — no surprise charges at delivery.

Airpura units carry a 5-year warranty on parts and labor, plus labor-only coverage to 10 years. As an authorized Airpura dealer, Fresh Home Air supports the full manufacturer warranty. Contact us at support@freshhomeair.com for warranty service.

Run it in your home for 30 days. If it is not right, email support@freshhomeair.com and we will send you a prepaid, insured return label. We pay the return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and you get a full refund once the unit is back with us. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email us within 7 days with photos of the item and the packaging. We will send a replacement and collect the original, and you pay nothing.

Yes. The germicidal UV-C lamp is fully enclosed inside the cabinet — it treats only the air passing through and exposes no one in the room to UV. No ozone, no ionizer. Safe for continuous use around children and pets.

overkill for small spaces, perfect for large ones

The P700 is clearly built for serious pet households in large homes. In my 2100 sq ft open plan the enhanced airflow covers everything on medium speed. The HEPA and carbon combination handles both dander and odors thoroughly. If you have a smaller space the P600 is probably sufficient, but for large layouts with multiple pets this is the right call.

p700 vs p600 — the upgrade is real

I had a P600 in my previous home and upgraded to the P700 when I moved to a larger space. The difference in airflow at the same speed setting is noticeable. For a large home with multiple pets the higher CFM translates directly into better air quality across more square footage.

Handles Particle Load in a Large Workshop

I do woodworking and metalworking in a large shop. The P700 is the only machine that actually keeps up with the fine particle load. Exceptional build quality.

handles a large home with four dogs

We have four dogs and a 2200 sq ft home. The P700's higher airflow was the deciding factor over the P600. The enhanced motor keeps up with the dander and odor load from four active dogs without straining. The pre-filter for pet hair is a necessity at this scale and it works as advertised.

Multi-Pet Household Solved

We have four dogs and two cats in a large home and the P700 Plus is the first purifier that has truly kept up with the demand. The additional pre-filter and carbon layers on top of the P700 base deliver maximum odor and dander removal that you can actually feel when you walk in the door. This is the unit for serious multi-pet households.
