Filtration System — 4 Stages
Stage 1 — Large Particle Pre-Filter
A mechanical pre-filter captures larger airborne particles — dust, hair, and debris — before they can reduce the efficiency of downstream filter stages. This extends the life of the entire filter assembly.
Stage 2 — Medium Particle Pre-Filter
A secondary pre-filter layer targets finer particles including mold spores and fine dust, protecting the HEPA and carbon stages from premature loading.
Stage 3 — 15 lbs of Activated Carbon + Zeolite (The Chemical Defense Core)
This is what separates the HealthMate Plus from standard air purifiers. The carbon and zeolite blend is designed to address two categories of airborne chemical contamination:

Construction
The HealthMate Plus is built with an all-steel housing. There is no plastic shell. This matters for chemically sensitive users: plastic housings can off-gas VOCs and plasticizers into the air stream, counteracting the purpose of the purifier. The steel construction is inert and does not contribute airborne contamination. The unit uses a 360-degree air intake, drawing air from all sides simultaneously for efficient room circulation.
No Ionizer. No Ozone. No UV.
The HealthMate Plus is a mechanical filtration system only. It produces no ozone, generates no ions, and emits no UV radiation. For individuals with MCS, ionizers and ozone-generating technology are common reactivity triggers. The HealthMate Plus eliminates that variable entirely.
