What It's Designed For
The UV714 combines UV-C germicidal sterilization with Super HEPA rated at 99.99% at 635 CFM — maximum particle capture efficiency and UV-C pathogen control at the highest airflow in the Airpura UV series. Designed for high-volume spaces where microbial contamination is a specific concern and where asthma, immune compromise, or fine particle sensitivity makes Super HEPA's additional capture margin necessary. The 635 CFM provides more air cycles per hour than the UV614, maintaining germicidal and filtration effectiveness in larger or higher-volume environments.

Filtration System
Pre-Filter — Captures large particles at intake. Protects carbon and HEPA stages. Replace annually.
Carbon Bed — 18 lbs Activated Carbon — Adsorbs VOCs, chemical off-gassing, formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, and chemical contaminants across the standard adsorption range.
UV-C Germicidal Lamp — UV wavelength radiation sterilizes bacteria, viruses, and mold spores in the air stream. Replace the lamp on schedule to maintain germicidal efficacy.
Super HEPA — 99.99% @ 0.3 microns — Reduces fine particle breakthrough by 8× vs. standard HEPA 99.97%. Captures fine particulate, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, PM2.5, bacteria, and airborne viral particles at maximum efficiency.

Best For
- High-volume spaces where UV-C biological control AND Super HEPA particle filtration are simultaneous requirements at maximum airflow
- Immunocompromised individuals in larger or higher-ceiling spaces where 560 CFM is insufficient for the room volume
- Environments with severe mold or pathogen concerns where every filtration stage needs to operate at its highest specification
UV714 vs. UV700: The UV700 uses standard HEPA 99.97%. The UV714 upgrades to Super HEPA 99.99% — the correct choice when fine particle sensitivity compounds the pathogen control concern. UV714 vs. UV614: The UV614 runs at 560 CFM. The UV714 provides 635 CFM — the correct choice when greater airflow is needed for the space. UV714 vs. P714: The P714 adds TitanClean photocatalytic oxidation alongside UV-C and Super HEPA. For environments with both chemical destruction and pathogen control requirements, the P714 is appropriate.
