The P714+ is the highest-specification model in the 700 P series and the most capable air purifier in the Airpura 700 lineup — TitanClean PCO, UV-C germicidal sterilization, and a TiO₂-coated Super HEPA at 99.99% at 635 CFM. It combines the expanded PCO coverage of the P700+ (TiO₂-coated HEPA) with the maximum particle filtration of the P714 (Super HEPA 99.99%), at the highest available airflow. For environments requiring chemical destruction, pathogen sterilization, maximum fine particle capture, and expanded PCO coverage simultaneously — at the scale of a larger space or higher-ceiling environment — the P714+ provides the most complete air filtration available in the Airpura standard lineup.

Pre-Filter — Captures large particles at intake. Protects carbon, UV-C, and HEPA stages. Replace annually.
Carbon Bed — 18 lbs Activated Carbon — Adsorbs VOCs, benzene, toluene, xylene, off-gassing and odors from cleaning products, cosmetics, paints, carpet and upholstery.
UV-C Germicidal Lamp + PCO Reflector — UV-C radiation activates both the dedicated TitanClean TiO₂ stage and the TiO₂-coated Super HEPA filter, sterilizing biological pathogens and expanding PCO treatment surface area.
TitanClean™ TiO₂ Photocatalytic Oxidation — Primary PCO stage: oxidatively decomposes VOCs, chemical contaminants, bacteria, viruses, and mold spores to water vapor and CO₂.

P714+ vs. P700+: The P700+ uses a TiO₂-coated standard HEPA (99.97%). The P714+ upgrades to TiO₂ Super HEPA at 99.99% — the correct choice when both expanded PCO and maximum particle capture are simultaneous priorities. P714+ vs. P614+: The P614+ runs at 560 CFM. The P714+ provides 635 CFM — the correct choice when greater airflow is needed for the space.

Airpura rates this machine for up to 2,500 sq ft at two air changes an hour, with 8-foot ceilings. For four air changes, which is what we suggest for smoke, asthma or chemical sensitivity, plan on about 1,250 sq ft.
Airpura filter life varies by model and usage. Airpura rates the carbon filter at about two years of continuous use in a typical home. HEPA and pre-filters have their own replacement schedules. Replacement filters are available on our filters page. Running the unit below its rated capacity meaningfully extends filter life.
Airpura units use a variable-speed motor, so you dial airflow up or down across a range rather than stepping through fixed settings. At the low end it is quiet enough to sleep beside. At the top of the range it is clearly audible and is meant for clearing a room quickly — after cooking, painting, or on a smoky day — not for running overnight. Most people settle around the middle of the range and leave it there.
No ionizer and no ozone. This unit does include a germicidal UV-C lamp, fully enclosed inside the cabinet — it treats only the air passing through and emits no UV into the room. The particle and chemical work is still done by mechanical HEPA and activated carbon.

The True HEPA captures particle-class triggers and the activated carbon addresses VOCs, odors, and chemical compounds. No ionizer, no ozone — safe for respiratory conditions. Continuous operation at a moderate speed outperforms intermittent high-speed runs for maintaining consistent indoor air quality.
