What It's Designed For
The G414 combines German-sourced activated carbon with Super HEPA rated at 99.99% — the highest particle capture efficiency in the 400 G series. It is built for individuals with MCS or severe chemical sensitivity who also have asthma, severe allergies, or fine particle reactivity as compounding conditions. German-sourced carbon provides a cleaner adsorption profile for those who react to standard carbon; the Super HEPA stage reduces fine particle breakthrough by 8× vs. standard HEPA, addressing both chemical and particle sensitivity simultaneously in a compact, all-metal unit.

Filtration System
Pre-Filter — Captures large particles at intake. Protects carbon and HEPA stages. Replace annually.
Carbon Bed — German-Sourced Activated Carbon — Blücher Technologies spherical carbon with a purer manufacturing profile. Adsorbs VOCs, formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, chemical off-gassing compounds, and airborne chemical contaminants across the standard adsorption range. Specified for individuals whose chemical sensitivity extends to reactions from standard carbon manufacturing residuals.
Super HEPA — 99.99% @ 0.3 microns — Reduces fine particle breakthrough by 8× vs. standard HEPA 99.97%. Captures fine particulate, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, PM2.5, bacteria, and airborne viral particles with maximum compact-unit efficiency. Appropriate when particle sensitivity is a compounding concern alongside chemical sensitivity.

Best For
- MCS individuals with asthma or fine particle sensitivity as a compounding condition requiring both German carbon and Super HEPA
- Sensitive households where every filtration stage needs to be at maximum performance in a compact unit
- Users who need the all-metal pressure-sealed platform with both carbon source purity and highest particle capture efficiency
G414 vs. G400: The G400 uses standard HEPA 99.97%. The G414 upgrades to Super HEPA 99.99% — appropriate when fine particle sensitivity compounds the chemical sensitivity concern. G414 vs. G400 DLX: The G400 DLX upgrades the carbon stage to enhanced impregnated German carbon rather than the HEPA stage. If ammonia, chlorine, or reactive compounds are triggers, the G400 DLX is correct; if maximum particle capture alongside German carbon is the priority, the G414 is correct. G414 vs. G614: The G614 carries German-sourced carbon + Super HEPA at 560 CFM for 2,000 sq ft. The G414 is correctly sized for a single room.
